  Wales1The 2005 Welsh Research I attendeesThe British Institute, is a week-long opportunity
to learn about researching for your ancestors from the British Isles.
For the first time, the ISBGFH British Institute included a Welsh course.
The 2005 course was very successful with 16 Welsh researchers from
across North America. The class was taught by Darris Williams.

Darris Williams: British
reference consultant in the Family History Library, currently a reference
consultant for World Wide Support in the Family History Department.
After completion of a bachelor degree in family and community history
at Brigham Young University, he studied at the University of Wales,
Aberstwyth in 1996. Darris has lectured at the British Isles Family
History Society Conference, UGAInstitute, Federation of Genealogical
Societies Conference and Federation of Family HistorySocieties Conference.
Darris is only the second person to pass the Wales accreditation test
administered by ICAPGen.
